A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Nalasopara city. On Monday morning, the body of an 8 year old girl was found in a closed room. The girl's body was in a plastic bag sitting in a closed room. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they immediately reached the spot. Also, the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

According to further information, the girl lived with her family in the Vanich Pada area of Vasai Phata. On Saturday 1 December she came home from school. After coming home she ate ice cream. After that she changed her clothes and went out to play with her friends. She did not return home even after it became quite late.

The family started searching for their daughter. She did not return home even after nightfall. The family's fear increased and they reached Pelhar police station. The police kept searching for the girl in the entire city. On Monday, suddenly a rotten smell started coming from room number 5 of the adjacent chawl where the girl used to reside. 

The foul smell became more intense in the afternoon. Sensing that something was wrong, some people in the chawl opened the door and they saw the girl wrapped in a plastic bag. 

Investigation is underway and the body has been sent for the post-mortem.
