One person died in an accident between a Honda City and a rickshaw at Sanpada signal at Palm Beach in Navi Mumbai around 5:30 am on April 1. After the accident, the driver of the Honda City has fled. Sanpada police station is taking action in this regard.
A rickshaw and a Honda City train were coming from Belapur towards Vashi from Palm Beach. Since it was 5:30 in the morning, there were few cars on the road. So the cars were being driven at a high speed. As soon as the Honda City vehicle crossed Sanpada Moraj signal it hit the rickshaw from behind.
The accident was so severe that the rickshaw overturned and one of its passengers lost his life. The rickshaw driver is seriously injured. Sanpada police informed that the Honda City driver fled after the accident.
