In the wake of the rising number of coronavirus cases, the Mumbai Police force has been deployed in most areas to keep a check whether people are wearing masks and also following other COVID-related protocols in public places.
However, it has come to light that the rule imposers were themselves seen flouting the rules.
Ironically, two policemen patrolling in the Santacruz area, who were asking the shopkeepers to shut their shops were seen not wearing masks properly.
A video that went viral on social media saw the officials were wearing their masks around their chins and not covering their faces as is prescribed.

As per the rules issued by the government and the health department, it is mandatory for every individual to wear masks properly covering the nose and mouth. No government servant, public figure or any other high official is scaled out from following the rules. The norm and guidelines are equal for everyone.
On the other hand, a video of five men being paraded by the Mumbai Police at Marine Drive has gone viral on social media, triggering mixed reactions online. The 30-second viral clip features a group of men being made to squat and walk at Marine Drive promenade for not wearing face masks. Widely circulated online, the clip was also shared by business tycoon Anand Mahindra, who was reminded of his school days after watching the video.
