The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police arrested a sharpshooter of the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang after threats to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan came to light. The threats were made in connection to the Blackbuck case.
Haryana STF arrested Sampat Nehra, the accused sharpshooter from Hyderabad earlier this week. Police said that the gangster planned to flee from the country after executing his plan to kill the actor.

In January, the actor was threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi that the actor will be killed in Jodhpur. The threat was in regard to the Blackbuck killing case of 1998, in which Salman was convicted in April this year. The Bishnoi community looks up to the Blackbucks as a symbol of their religious leader, Guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar and were greatly upset by the killing of their revered animal.
The criminal has been wanted in 12 murder cases, six attempt-to-murder cases, two extortion cases and five dacoity cases.
