Thane Police in Maharashtra recently solved a stealing case and arrested a 28-year-old man, Sarfaraz Ajmal Khan, from Narpoli in Bhiwandi.

The suspect, who was taken into custody after an increase in police vigilance due to a surge in theft cases in the area, is accused of stealing vehicles and robbing people on the street.

Sarfaraz's criminal spree came to an end as the police recovered three mobile phones, two motorcycles, and a tempo that is reportedly valued at more than INR 5 lakhs. The police are now investigating if he may be connected to any other crimes in the area.

Meanwhile, another event in Boisar revealed a bleak image of spousal abuse and infidelity where a 45-year-old man killed his 40-year-old wife by slitting her throat in public while also making an attempt at suicide because he thought she was having an affair.

The incident, which happened at 12:30 pm, resulted in the woman’s death on the spot and the male being brought to the hospital. The police are looking into matter as an investigation in the probe is on.
