Sewri Police arrested two thieves for allegedly stealing 25 bikes

When asked about the stolen bikes, the accused said that they are confused about the locations of the stolen vehicles

Sewri Police arrested two thieves – Mehraj Abdulbaari Sheikh (19) and Mushtaq Lalbabu Mansuri (20) for allegedly stealing 25 bikes. When police asked them about the whereabouts of the stolen bikes, the accused claimed that they don’t remember anything. Both of them have been are stealing bikes for the past four years. 

The accused, who belong to Mankhurd, used to re-sell the stolen bikes to earn the profit and have been in this business from a young age. They used to park the stolen bike at BMC’s Pay and Park facility to avoid suspicion.

Sewri police arrested both the accused after a complaint was filed about a stolen Activa scooter. It was discovered that the accused have stolen these bikes from Mumbai, Thane, Panvel, and Navi Mumbai. When asked about the stolen bikes, the accused answered that they are confused about the location of the stolen vehicles. 

The police are investigating the matter.
