On Friday morning, one woman lost her life when she was crushed between two buses at Kurla bus depot. The police are trying to find out more information about the deceased woman.
The incident took place around 09:30 am when driver no. 094689 was reversing his bus no. 2642. At the same time, 22-year-old Amrin Saba Murtija Shaikh was passing between two buses i.e. bus no. 2652 and bus no. 2139 (parked) and she got pressed in between two buses and injured. She was taken to Bhabha Hospital where she passed away while taking treatment.
Similarly, another bus accident was reported at Thane’s SATIS flyover where two buses collided and 28 passengers were injured. In another incident, a bus overturned at Sanpada on Sion-Panvel Expressway where five passengers were injured on Thursday night.
