99.95% Students Pass SSC Examinations In Maharashtra In 2021

The Secondary School Certificate board recorded its highest pass percentage at 99.95%, an improvement of 4.65% from the last year. With the girls surpassing boys.

On Friday, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education proclaimed Class 10 results and announced that 99.95% of students passed the examination.

A total of 15,75,806 students registered for the SSC exams of which the educational institutions sent assessment reports of 15,75,752 out of which 15,74,994 students passed. This is the highest pass percentage of the SSC Board to date. In contrast to last year whose pass percentage was 95.30%, the results ameliorated by 4.65%.

83,262 students attained over 90% marks and 957 students got 100% marks. In Maharashtra, nine schools attained zero per cent results. The Konkan region recorded the highest pass percentage at 100%, Mumbai, on the other hand, registered 99.96% of pass percentage. Approximately 27 subjects have a 100% percentage. 368 of the failed students have qualified for the ATKT, whilst 916 are qualified for re-examination.

According to some reports, the pass percentage of girls stood at 99.96%, whilst that of boys stood at 99.94%

Chairman of the Maharashtra State Education Board, Dinkar Patil, whilst announcing the results assured students that they will get seats in FYJC. He also mentioned that CET admissions for the first-year junior college are expected prior to August 21.

This year, internal marks were used, to calculate the scores since SSC exams were cancelled owing to the pandemic.
