As per reports, the admissions in the state B-schools for MBA or MMS is to begin from Tuesday, December 8.

In the past, before the coronavirus-induced lockdown happened in March, the aspirants had appeared for the entrance examinations and have been waiting for admissions since. Moreover, State Higher and Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant, had earlier informed that the admissions are to start for four courses which include MBA/MMS from December 8. In addition, he stated that the admissions to BArch and two integrated BEd programmes are to also begin.

Meanwhile, the aspirants who have appeared for the examinations are suggested to keep a check on the official website as counselling schedule for admissions to BArch courses to various governments, government-aided, private universities have been shared. Furthermore, the registration process that is to begin from December 8 would close on December 13. Moreover, applications registered after December 13 shall be considered only for Non-CAP Seats.

On the other hand, earlier, the Maharashtra Students’ Union had decided to sit outside the residence of Uday Samant to protest against the college fees. While parents of school-going children are already against the fee issue amidst the outbreak of the coronavirus, now college students, too, are seeking relaxation in fee payment. The Union wants to raise funds for the Higher and Technical Education Department by begging so that students can be provided with some relaxation in fees during this pandemic.

With everyone facing financial crunches, apart from the course fee, the students are also expected to pay examination fees for the University students.
