CBSE Results: Two Mumbai Students Among Top Three In Maharashtra

Sashank Nag from Panvel bagged 98.8 per cent and Shifa Thokan scored 98.2 per cent. They're among the top 3 in Maharashtra after CBSE exam results were declared on Thursday, May 2.

For the fourth consecutive year, students from CBSE Class 12 from Mumbai did not make it to the national toppers list. However, two students from Mumbai made it to the top three ranks in Maharashtra. 

Sashank Nag from Panvel bagged the first rank in Maharashtra with 494 out of 500 or 98.8 per cent from science stream followed by Shifa Thokan from Nerul's Delhi Public School who secured the third rank with 98.2 per cent.

Maharashtra recorded a success rate of 92.9 per cent as compared to last year's 93.9 per cent. Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala was the best performing region with 98.2 per cent. 

Student can apply online for verification of marks from May 4-8 till 5:00 pm with ₹500 per subject. To obtain a photocopy of evaluated answer book, students can apply on May 20 and 21 till 5:00 pm and the cost per answer book will be ₹700. Re-evaluation will be from May 24-25 with ₹100 per question.
