Matunga - Don Bosco School in Matunga will celebrate its platinum jubilee year by organizing a host of the programmes throughout the year starting from 16 November. Considered to be one of the best schools not only in the city but also in the state and the country, Don Bosco’s glorious journey of 75 years will be highlighted during the year. The school has given many great personalities to the nation. Some of its alumni include film producer-director Mahesh Bhatt, actors Shashi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Anant Mahadevan, singer Hariharan, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Dr Kirti Punamia, Dr Ram Chheda, Dr Sandip Rane, cricketers Farokh Engineer, Ravi Shastri, Jatin Paranjpe and many others.
The yearlong celebration will conclude in the presence of Reverend father Angel Fernandis.
