The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik has ordered strict implementation of copy-free campaigns across the state to completely prevent the issue of copying during class 12th and 10th examinations to be held between February-March. Examination centers will be monitored by drones to prevent malpractices.

As part of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' 100-day action plan, Education Minister Dada Bhuse had directed the School Education Department and the State Secondary and Higher Secondary Board to ensure that the Class 10 and 12 examinations are conducted smoothly in a copy-free, fear-free, and healthy environment.

What is the command to prevent copying?

● Examination centers should be monitored by drones to prevent malpractices during examinations.

● Video shooting should also be done outside the examination centers through the district administration.

● The district administration should ensure that the necessary physical facilities are in place at the examination center one day before the commencement of the examination.

● Bharari teams, sitting teams should be provided at all examination centers.

● The District Administration will conduct a 'Face Recognition System' inspection of all examination-related components by the Center Director, Supervisors appointed at the examination center. Also, separate identity cards will be given to the concerned.


In case of misconduct, a case will be filed

In case of malpractice at the examination center, a cognizable, non-bailable case should be filed against those who helped or assisted him. Xerox centers within 500 meters from the examination center should be closed during the examination period. It has been mentioned that section 144 will be applied in the area of examination centers.
