Due to the mismanagement of the examination and evaluation board of Mumbai University and mistakes in exam planning, students have to suffer continuously. As the new revised dates and detailed schedule are yet to be announced, it has become difficult for students to go for higher education abroad, find jobs and plan travel.


The 3rd Year 6th Sem Exam of University of Mumbai Financial Markets and Services, Real Estate Management, Retail Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Health, Hospitality and Tourism Professional Courses on May 8, the 4th semester examination of the Post-Graduate Arts Communication and Journalism, Public Relations, Television Studies course was scheduled to begin on May 9 and the 1st semester examination of the Post-Graduate Arts Sociology (Hons) course was scheduled to begin on May 9 and the third semester examination was scheduled to begin on May 10.

All the students were waiting for the detailed schedule. Many people cancelled going to the village. Students living outside Mumbai spent thousands of rupees and entered Mumbai for the exam. But the students got confused as they were told just 4 days before the exam that the exam has been postponed and the new dates will be announced soon. 


Currently, the work of settling the pending results of various courses is in the final stage. So the process of preparing the revised detailed schedule of all the postponed exams is going on. 


The said examination will not be conducted in the month of May. The Board of Examinations and Evaluation of Mumbai University has clarified that the new time table will be announced in the next 2 to 3 days.
