This year, a total of 21,59,232 admissions are available in 9,535 junior colleges in the state, for which 14,79,654 students have registered. Out of them, 12,78,044 students have finalised their admission applications.
79 new students registered for the final phase between August 26 and 27. While 49,339 students have registered their preference by filling part-two of the application form. Apart from this, 2,196 students have also decided their preference under various quotas. After the merit list is announced, it is mandatory for students to go to the allotted junior college and confirm their admission by 6 pm on August 30.
