Jr college teachers stage dharna

Azad Maidan – The Junior College teachers protested at Azad Maidan on Tuesday against the state government for its inaction to solve their pending demands. The dharna agitation was staged to press their demands including regularizing the services of teachers who have been serving since last 4 years, salaries, permission for recruitment etc. They alleged that education minister only makes announcements but officers under him neglect his assurances. Action should be taken against such officers, demanded joint secretary Anil Deshmukh. The protesting teachers also warned of strong agitation if their demands are not fulfilled soon
