According to the latest reports, from May 30 onwards, the centralized admission procedure with online registration for the first year of junior college (FYJC) in Maharashtra will begin in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Amravati and Nagpur.

Based on accounts, from May 30, students looking for grade 11 admissions can commence their online registration procedure. This is part-1 of the form. The part-2, on the other hand, will open post the declaration of the grade 10 results.

While the present batch (2022-23) is still awaiting their grade 10 results, the above procedure is part of the FYJC admission process.

It has been reported that on Monday, the mock round for the process began to offer students. This will be in action till May 29. Narratives suggest that students can visit the website to select the city where they want admission.

As part of the mock round process, a demo-login system can be availed by the students. However, from May 20, the demo-login data will be removed so that students can commence the procedure afresh, reports stated.

In selected cities in the state, FYJC admission is done by means of centralised online admission procedure rounds. Upon registering for the procedure, candidates have a give a college preference list where they seek to attain admission. In the preference form, a minimum of one and a maximum of 10 colleges can be filled. Then on the basis of merit, students are allotted seats in colleges.
