Mumbai city and its suburbs as well as Thane and Palghar districts were also lashed by rain on Thursday. Many areas were flooded due to heavy rains on Thursday. Road and rail traffic was also affected.
Meanwhile, a warning of heavy rain has been given today (July 28). Apart from this, holidays have been announced for schools in Thane.
