The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the provisional merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year.

Around 35,000 candidates have registered for the medical and dental admission process in Maharashtra. Candidates can check the provisional merit list and verify details including their NEET scores, ranks and category information.

The CET Cell has invited candidates to raise objections or report discrepancies in the provisional merit list. Candidates can submit their objections on August 19 and 20 until 5 pm, along with the necessary supporting documents.

The objections will be reviewed by the CET Cell, after which the final merit list is scheduled to be published on August 21.

Following the release of the final merit list, candidates will proceed to the first round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The choice-filling and preference submission process is scheduled to take place from August 22 to 24, while the CAP Round 1 seat allotment is expected to be announced on August 25.

Candidates have been advised to carefully check all details mentioned in the provisional merit list. Any errors relating to personal information, category, NEET details or other admission-related information should be reported within the prescribed deadline.

The Maharashtra NEET UG counselling process will determine admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in participating government and private medical and dental colleges across the state.
