It seems that the Mumbai University woes are never ending. After online assessment problem, varsity is dealing with another issue. This time it is about the vacant post of an important position and i.e. registrar post.
As the former registrar, Dr. M A Khan has been appointed as the CEO of the Haj Committee, the registrar post has been lying vacant. For Haj Committee’s CEO position, M A Khan was selected out of 17 candidates. Soon, Khan will be taking the charge of the new position and have put down papers as well. Yet, MU has not made any appointment for the said post.
Other than registrar post, pro-vice chancellor, and director of the Appraisal Board post is also vacant. For now, MU has published an advertisement for the post of the registrar in a newspaper. This is the second time, MU has published the advertisement for the registrar post and director of the Appraisal Board post.
It seems, Yuva Sena Aditya Thackeray is unhappy about the whole Mumbai University's vacant posts fiasco. He expressed his displeasure on Twitter. In his tweets, he mentioned about how concerned he is for student's future. Along with this, he also took a dig at education minister.
More than the Registrar, I believe it's time to shift out the Minister fr Education and the Vice Chancellor. Never before has it been so bad

The MU VC has anyway messed up online assessment big time. Papers given to wrong assessors, papers being corrected in a hurry. Mess n chaos

Now the MU is effectively without a Pro- VC, a Registrar, has ad hoc controller of exams. And lakhs of papers to correct in 9 days!
