Sensing the need for data analysis, Mumbai University’s Computer Science department has decided to introduce specialisation in Data Science for MSc students. The University will be using ‘Blended MOOC’ technology to teach Data Science and will be known as the first University to teach this technique.
The whole world runs on a click of a button, be it politics or marketing. Data collection and analysis plays a very important role in these sectors. Due to this, the demand for data scientists is increasing. These very scientists curate data and analyse it with the help of data product, automated data analysis tool, and dynamic visualisation.
Any graduate student can get admitted to the Data Science programme. The entrance examination will be held soon and the last date to secure admission is July 18, 2018. HSC cleared students will be able to take admission for Data Science and will have a privilege of completing the course as per their convenience.
