Audit of the university’s finance department and better treatment of teachers from the reserved categories are part of their demands.

He went on to elaborate that if their demands aren’t met, they will be left with no other option, but to agitate at the Kalina and Fort campuses on 13th July. Post which, from 20th July the academic staff will continue to voice their discomfort if their demands aren’t fulfilled.

It is claimed that Ravindra Kulkarni, University of Mumbai’s pro-vice-chancellor did not respond to any calls or messages in regards to this.
