Mumbai University to release first merit list of colleges on August 6

Reports state that the cut-off for the admissions this year is expected to be higher than the previous year, as the university has observed a significant increase in highest pass percentage

The admission circular of the new academic year admissions for undergraduate courses was postponed by Mumbai University (MU). The officials had extended the deadline till Wednesday, August 5. As per reports, the first merit list for the admissions will be displayed on August 6, 2020, followed by second and third merit list which will be announced on August 11 and 17, 2020, respectively.

As per reports the first merit list for Mumbai’s Xavier’s college was released in the morning on Thursday, August 6, whereby the admission for FY-BMS will be based on the entrance examination. 

MU officials, on August 1, 2020, will also open the new centre for research on the economy. This day marks the 100th foundation day of Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy, and a fund of INR 5 crores was used to set up the centre. Students can check the merit list through the university website. If the students do not have the mark sheet, then they can download the same from the board website and submit with a self-attested copy of the same.

Students to get the documents verified latest by August 10, 2020, until 3 pm. The second merit list for the colleges will be released on August 11, by 7 pm, and the process for the same should be completed by August 17. The third merit list for the colleges in Mumbai will be released by August 17, 2020, and the documentation should be completed by August 21, 2020.
