On behalf of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and under the guidance of Rajesh Narvekar, many public welfare schemes are being implemented and information about these schemes is being conveyed to people through various media so that maximum number of beneficiaries can take advantage of it.
An innovative scheme of this type is being implemented for the youth and through this 41 types of skill enhancement training is being given to the youth.

However, in this scheme, there is not much response from the youth and women belonging to the backward classes such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Tribes and Free Nomadic Tribes. All these skill enhancement training are very important for their development and to increase their knowledge, said Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar.

In order to benefit from this training scheme, the beneficiary's family must submit proof of residence in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area for at least three years. Similarly, it will be necessary to attach a photocopy of Aadhaar card, school leaving certificate or PAN card as proof of the applicant's age and it will be mandatory to attach the caste certificate stating that the applicant belongs to backward class.
