State quota schedule for medical courses announced; First merit list for MBBS, BDS courses on August 7

After announcing the All India Quota admission schedule for medical courses, the State Common Entrance Examination Cell has now announced the State Quota schedule. Accordingly, students will be able to register for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS courses between July 23 and 30. The interim list of students registered for MBBS and BDS courses will be announced on August 2nd.


Exactly a month after the NEET UG 2025 exam results were declared on June 14, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the schedule for the All India Quota. At the same time, instructions were also given regarding the implementation of the state quota admission process. 


Accordingly, the State Common Entrance Examination Cell has started the registration process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP courses under the state quota from July 23 to 30. Similarly, students have to confirm their registration by paying the fee between July 23 and 31. Also, students have been given a deadline between July 23 and August 1 to upload color copies of documents on the website.


The list of registered students will be announced on August 2nd, and the interim list and details of seats for MBBS and BDS courses will be announced on August 2nd. After that, students will be able to fill in their college preference list for the first round between August 3 and 5. The first merit list for MBBS and BDS courses will be announced on the website on August 7. 


The CET office informed that students who have been offered admission in this list will have to go to the college in person and take admission between August 8 and 12. MCC has issued instructions to conduct the admission process on Saturdays, Sundays and other government holidays during the schedule.

AYUSH Course Admission Schedule to Be Announced Soon

While the admission schedule for medical courses has already been released by the MCC, the admission process for AYUSH courses including BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, as well as paramedical courses like BNYS, BPTH, BOTH, and BASLP will begin only after the respective councils announce their individual schedules. However, the CET Cell has informed that a common registration process is being conducted for all these courses.
