Mumbai University (MU) has set up a committee to investigate the paper leak case of the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) fifth-semester examinations and wil wait further investigation. 

The committee went to MVM College and met the principal. The committee along with the police will decide what action needs to be taken against the accused.

The examination papers of the fifth semester of BMS were leaked on WhatsApp and students could access it over their mobile phones much before the examination.

The Marketing and Commerce and Digital Marketing examination papers were leaked and it was realised when a student was caught with her mobile phone in the examination hall at MVM College of Commerce and Science, Andheri (west).

Around 13 people were arrested in the matter and were bailed immediately. The University says they will not bar students from attending the exams as they’re accused but not proven guilty.
