Nikkhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment will venture into web series next year, and will also make new films in 2020, some of them being sequels of previous popular releases.

Popular production house Emmay Productions recently completed 8 years, and keeping this achievement in mind, the eminent names behind the production house, met the media at an event held in Mumbai.

Over the years, films like Satyamev Jayate, Hero, Katti Batti, Airlift, Batla House and others have been produced under the banner. Talking ahead the legacy of making quality films, the team from Emmay Entertainment announced the next set of films.

One of the important names in Emmay, Madhu Bhojwani said,

It's been 8 years and a fantastic journey for all of us. I'm humbled and overwhelmed with the work we have done and the love we have received.

Sharing the excitement, Monisha Advani said, "Emmay stands for struggle and we thank everyone for being with us and supporting us."

Nikhil Advani got emotional at the event, and said,

The biggest legacy Emmay has is the power to back talent. Our journey is very tough, and we have made some bad, some good films but we'll get there soon. My team allows me to learn and that's something I'm blessed with.

Nikhil Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Monisha Advani also announced their next set of films. Here are some films which they announced. The team is working in 5 webseries and a number of films in 2020.

 Indoo Ki Jawaani starring Kiara Advani

2. Satyamev Jatyate 2 - Directed by Milap Zaveri

3. Marjawaan - To release in 2019

4. Web show based on 26/11 for a leading digital platform.

5. Untitled coming-of-age film on border - to be directed by Kashvi Nair

6. Psychological thriller/serial killer, based on female cop. Titled Snow, directed by Vishal furia

7. Directors of Bazaar, Lucknow Central will be doing their films. 

8. Hasmukh starring Vir Das

9. 1911 - Based on a true story that took place in the year, which united freedom movement in India. Sujeet was planning to direct the film, and John has been working on it for a while. The film has a patriotic appeal and will  go on floors by the end of 2020.
