Nearly after 3 years, Sushant Singh Rajput’s Mumbai flat finally found a new tenant. The house will be rented out at ₹5 lakh per month. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's flat which he had rented, was laying vacant for nearly three years now.

As per the report,  the NRI owner found a new tenant. A real-estate broker in Mumbai, Rafique Merchant, said that few months ago, he was approached by the flat’s owner. A deposit of  ₹30 lakh will be paid to the owner, which is equal to six months of rent. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in the flat on June 14, 2020.

As quoted by India Today, Rafique said they are in the final stage of talks with the family to finalise things.

While talking to Bollywood Hungama, Rafique said people were scared to move into the flat upon hearing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in the same flat. Further adding he said the owner does not want to rent out the flat to a film celeb but to a corporate person.

The 4BHK flat at Mont Blanc Apartments is 2,500 sq. feet sea-facing duplex with terrace, is situated on Carter Road in Mumbai's Bandra West.

In December 2019, Sushant had taken the flat on the sixth floor for three years. Then he was paying a monthly rent of ₹4.51 lakh.
