Starring Aditi Sharma and Arjit Taneja in lead roles, Triangle film productions' Kaleerein urges every girl to be herself and not change in any manner to find a perfect match. The subject of Kaleerein revolves around the demands set by the society for a girl, who is pushed to change her lifestyle and bow down to the demands, in order to find the best groom. The show will air every week day, from February 5, 2018.

Marriage is one of the most prestigious ceremonies in one's life. It is a journey where two people set out on together, finding perfections and imperfections, thereby making their living better. But in a marriage or a pious relationship, is it right for the girl to change herself or portray herself as someone who she is not? Is it right to do such a thing only to find a perfect match?

Boldly raising questions and addressing the same, is Zee TV's new show, Kaleerein, starring TV town's popular Arjit Taneja and debutante Aditi Sharma, paired opposite each other, in the lead roles.

The story of the show revolves around Meera, a small town girl from Punjab, who chooses to assert her individuality against the reality of bride grooming schools that are mushrooming all over Punjab, schools that prescribe a bucket-list of must-have qualities for a bride to land a perfect groom. A free-spirited girl who wants to live her life on her own terms, Meera values her uniqueness and is in search of a suitor who will accept her for the person she truly is.

In keeping with its brand philosophy - Aaj Likhenge Kal, Zee TV, through Kaleerein, continues to provide a glimpse into the life and aspirations of common people and the stereotypes they break to shape an extraordinary tomorrow.

Talking about the same, Deepak Rajadhyaksha, Deputy Business Head, Zee TV said, "Meera's intriguing story will highlight how getting married to an ideal form is the beginning of a new and crucial chapter in a woman's life. The message we wish to put out there is that the institution of marriage should not come with a tag of demands for a bride, but should signify freedom and happiness. Girls should not have to change themselves to find a perfect match. With Kaleerein, we urge young brides to take charge of their destiny and find a groom of their liking who accepts them for who they are not for what they are forced to become."

Kaleerein will start on February 5, 2018, and will air on weekdays at 7:30 PM on Zee TV.
