On Tuesday, May 24, light rains were seen in isolated places in the city. According to the latest reports, pre-monsoon showers were seen in parts of south Mumbai such as Colaba, and Byculla, amongst others on Tuesday morning. 

Areas such as Matunga, and Kurla also witnessed momentarily rains. On the other hand, a brief spell of rain was seen in parts of Navi Mumbai such as Nerul on Tuesday morning.

Similarly, accounts suggest that since Monday, May 23, night, other parts of Mumbai and nearby areas have been seeing light rains. 

Earlier on Saturday, May 21, night a light spell of rain was seen in areas of Mumbai such as Dadar, Sewri, Matunga, Parel and nearby areas of Navi Mumbai. 

On the other hand, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Mumbai has predicted in the next 24 hours a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain or drizzle towards the evening or night. The maximum temperature will be 35 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be 28 degrees Celsius. 

Likewise, the forecast for the next 48 hours predicts a partly cloudy with a maximum and minimum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
