It is a breath of fresh air for Mumbai City

SHARES

The levels of pollution saw a good drop on Friday, which is technically the second time this year when the quality levels of air in Mumbai were recorded to be good. The System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) researchers said that it is estimated that the quality of air will remain quite the same through the weekend.

In the words of a SAFAR official, “High wind speed, rise in moisture and temperatures, has led to pollutants getting dispersed from the city air quickly.” The areas of Mazgaon and Chembur were recorded to be the most polluted locations in the city as the AQI levels fall into the ‘moderate’ category.
