According to the weather forecasting body Skymet, during the last 24 hours, rain activities have reduced over Mumbai and suburbs. In the last 24 hours, Santacruz recorded 54 mm and Colaba recorded 31 mm of rain. Isolated pockets of Mumbai recorded heavy thundershowers during afternoon hours, but rain intensity has reduced now.
They also added that the offshore through, which was extending from North Konkan and Goa to Kerala has weakened. The east-west shear zone has also moved northward. Moderate showers are expected to continue over parts of Mumbai for the next 2 to 3 days. A decrease in the rain intensity will be witnessed and there may be isolated light rains after a few days.
The temperature in Mumbai and suburbs will gradually increase and increased sunshine hours leading to sultry weather conditions yet again. The weather will not go completely dry, there won’t be much discomfort.
