Mumbai Marked Safe From Kayar Cyclone

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclone would have caused disastrous effects on the coast of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The Kayar cyclone which was 863 km away from Mumbai's coast in the Arabian Sea is now moving towards Oman in the gulf. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclone would have caused disastrous effects on the coast of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

However, IMD has further said that Mumbai can witness rainfall in the upcoming days and has further sent a notice to fishermen stating to not go in the sea for their fishing activities.
