Plant trees say Mumbai ‘Road Rangers’

Mumbai- ‘Road Rangers’ a youth group from Mumbai has taken a unique initiative. The youth have decided to take out a cycle rally and plant trees on the way from Mumbai to Goa.

Road Rangers will cylce for about 600km in this expedition. The team members are Chetan Fawde, Sagar Kambli, Abhijeet, Adesh Mhatre, Shardul Tawde. The rally will start from the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.
“ You reap the benefits of planting trees in the next 20 years, so we have come up with the idea of planting more and more trees” says a group member of Road Ranger.

The group is also expecting citizens to come forward and support them in planting trees along the Mumbai Goa highway. They have appealed to help them spread awareness about the environment and invest in trees for a better tomorrow.
