Goregaon - Navratri Festival is celebrated with great pomp and show across the nation, especially Bengalis who go frenzy at the glimpse of Goddess Durga. In Kali Temple Campus, Unnat Nagar Goregaon, the idol of Goddess Durga has been set up. From past 52 years, bengali rejoices in the campus. The clay out of which idol is crafted is brought from the brothel in Kolkata. Devotees swarm in to seek the blessing of Goddess Durga along with Goddesses' Laxmi, Saraswati, Lord Ganesha & Kartikeya. Outside the mandal devotees can also buy ethnic Bengali sarees and sweets to savour their delicacies.
