During Ganeshotsav, many types of facilities are being provided to the citizens by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). However, BMC has started another new facility this year. This year BMC has facilitated citizens and especially tourists to find the nearest Ganpati Mandal as well as the nearest idol immersion site.
BMC has launched WhatsApp chatbot also for the convivence of devotees. Not only this, online facility to register your preferred place and time for immersion of Ganesh idol has also been provided on the official BMC website.
MyBMC WhatsApp Chatbot is a mobile based service of BMC available on 8999-22-8999. Through it, citizens have been given information about how to avail various civic services and facilities. Through this chatbot, you can also know about your nearest Ganesh Mandal and idol immersion places. For this, go to this chatbot number and select the tourist option. After this click on the main list option after which you will see two options Ganpati Mandal and Ganpati Visarjan.

In line with Ganeshotsav, various online services are also available for Ganesh devotees, citizens and tourists on the Municipal Corporation website https://portal.mcgm.gov.in. After clicking on the tab Maps, Reports and Insights on the homepage of the Municipal Corporation website, you can also find Ganesh Mandal, immersion sites and other information in the Ganesh Mahotsav Story Map 2023.
Interestingly, with the help of this story map, you will get information about how to reach the location of Ganesh Mandal from your location, navigation to reach the idol immersion site, public transport means to reach there. Information will also be available in.
