The 'Patakha Guddi' singers - Jyoti and Sultana, aka the Nooran Sisters performed live in Aamchi Mumbai for the very first time.
After singing amazing songs for movies like ‘Sultan’,’ Dangal’ and ‘Singh Is Bliing’, the Nooran Sisters rocked the stage with Punjabi and Sufi numbers at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi on Tuesday.
The Punjab Association had organised the Baisakhi Gala to mark the festival which is being observed in the country today.
Jyoti and Sultana expressed their happiness by giving a joint statement in which they said that they’re very excited to perform in Mumbai, live for the first time on such an auspicious day. They also said that Mumbai has always been very special to them and they hoped they can work more with Bollywood. "We are very excited to be performing in Mumbai live for the first time on such an auspicious day. Mumbai has been special to us and we hope we can do more work in Bollywood," Jyoti and Sultana said in a joint statement.
