Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak temple will be open for longer next Tuesday.
On 28 March, which marks the first day of the Hindu new year - Gudi Padwa - devotees will get to seek the deity's blessings from 1.30 pm to 12 am.
On that day, morning prayers will be held at the temple from 5 am to 5.30 am, while devotees will get to make offerings from 12 pm to 12.30 pm. Evening pooja and aarti will take place from 9pm to 10 pm. Anticipating the rush, the temple trustees have taken the decision of changing the time table for the day.
