Worli - Durga Puja celebration is carried out in many states with great enthusiasm. In regard to this, Saraswati Puja ceremony has kickstarted in Worli from 1 February onwards. This is a three-day festival which would conclude on 3 February, likewise, every year mandal brought the 5 feet high idol in the pandal and decorated it magnificently. A medical camp has also been organised in the camp for the senior citizens. The group is organising this festival for past 42 years. The itinerary of the festival follows -
First Day - Khichdi distribution
Second Day - Satyanarayan Puja
Third Day - Idol Immersion
Devotees throng in the pandal and seek blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
