Thane city to host 'Utsav Thane-2024' from February 16

Utsav Thane 2024 has been organised in Thane city on February 16, 17, 18. The festival will be held near Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial, Dnyanasadhana College. In 'Utsav Thane 2024', 100 organizations of Thane city will come together and organize 40 programs in which around 2000 artists will participate.


The main objective of this project is to make such a platform of art culture available to local artists through public participation. This 'Utsav Thane 2024' which will be held for three days through public participation has been organised and planned by 100 organisations of Thane city. This festival is being organised in collaboration with Thane Municipal Corporation, Thane Police Headquarters, Thane Collector's Office.

Inauguration ceremony, clarinet playing, dance, Mallakhamba, Lazeem demonstrations, Shivarajyabhishek dance, western dance performance, devotional music, Avadhuta - Pt. Kumar Gandharva Birth Centenary Program, Talent Hunt, Nutritious Cereals (Millet) Public Awareness Workshop, Lokdhara of Maharashtra, Interviews with Officers of Indian Administrative Service and Police Service, Bollywood FingerStyle Guitar Playing, Group Dialogue Playing, Mushaira, Safarnama, Sangeet Jagar has been organised. 


Along with this, programs such as school children's reception, storytelling, multilingual poetry gathering, karaoke stage, art exhibition, pen show, photo exhibition, food and miscellaneous goods stalls, cycle rally, bike rally, workshops, street theatre, artistic installation etc. have been planned.


All these programs are free and Thanekars are requested to enjoy the programs of this festival on behalf of the organising body.
