Worli- This year, the Fatakda Chawl Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal has dedicated its Navratri theme to martyrs who lost their lives in Uri. The unique aspect of the festivities here is that the goddess' saree is changed five times a day. Last year, this Mandal had also contributed towards the Naam Foundation which works for the cause of farmers in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the Chetna Krida Mandal of Worli's Gopal Nagar has sported the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' theme this year. This Mandal has been hosting Navratri festivities for 27 years now.
