Launched by the brainchild behind The Protein Rush - another trailblazer of sugar and flour free high protein meals, The Conscious Baker is an ode to eating healthy without any hesitations or compromises on the taste.

The Conscious Baker does not use honey, jaggery, coconut sugar or even cane sugar that are usually used under the sugar-free label. It instead leverages decades of experience in baking and nutrition to serve up one of a kind goodies without any refined ingredients or compound chocolates whatsoever that might be remotely harmful to our body. All the bakery products at this Chembur heaven only use natural, preservative-free and clean alternative ingredients and are a true gift for Kids, Vegans, Diabetics, Keto Diet followers, health-conscious folks and those suffering from Gluten allergies alike.

Sharing more about the new venture, Founder Akshay Sandu said, “Since time immemorial, desserts have been synonymous with unhealthy fare and cheat meals. Even the best commercial bakeries and home bakers fail to understand the true danger behind some of the most used ingredients. The Conscious Baker was started to fight these very assumptions and solve for all needs of all kinds, with added nutritional values and taste. Not only are our maltitol-free chocolates made in our own labs from pure organic cacao beans, but all our desserts, bread and other products are handmade with great love and care. We’re sure that our culinary delights will soon become the city’s favourite go-to, irrespective of dietary restrictions.” 

What truly sets the venture a step above the rest is their effort to make everything in-house from scratch, including the chocolate they use. The Conscious Baker makes all their chocolate from bean to bar in-house, from the finest organic cocoa beans from South Indian plantations. The whole process takes more than a month and results in beautiful 70% single origin sugar-free dark chocolate and 55% dark milk and sugar-free milk chocolates.

All the scrumptious sweets and bakery items at The Conscious Baker are made to order and span across an array of offerings. Right from their assorted pastries, KETO brownies and almond bread to gooey and sugar-free caramel custard, buckwheat bread for diabetics, flourless cakes and more.
