Restaurants across the city remained shut from March to October 2020, after the state government announced the coronavirus lockdown phases, one after another. With an aim to serve customers and treat them in these tough times, restaurants offered delivery and takeaway options. However, the government has finally given a nod for the restaurants to reopen for the general public, with 50 per cent seating capacity, and some strict guidelines.

Keeping this mind, Mumbai's popular thali-dining chain, Maharaja Bhog, has opened doors for the customers. The aim this time again is to ensure your taste buds are served with the same flavour of the royal food.

As far as the safety is concerned, the restaurant has taken all possible measures and precautions in the form of temperature checks, sanitization, kitchen safety, food hygiene etc., to make sure customers feel comfortable while dining at the restaurant.

Talking about the same, Founder & Managing Director of Maharaja Bhog, Ashish Maheshwari said "It's great the food industry has got back into the business. The last seven months were extremely stressful but now that restaurants have reopened, we hope the business to pick up. Maharaja Bhog assures everyone that the team will follow all the guidelines directed by the government and will take necessary steps to ensure complete safety of the guests and the staff."

The team, in the last few months, received an overwhelming response with delivery and take away options, and as soon as the safety guidelines were met, Maharaja Bhog opened doors for dine-in at their Juhu outlet. The restaurant is now 'tayyar' and promises no more 'intezaar.'
