In a tragic incident at Mumbai's prestigious KEM Hospital, Dr. Adinath Patil, a 27-year-old resident physician, was found dead in his hotel room after failing to report for his morning responsibilities at the TB Hospital in Sewri. The alleged suicide has raised concerns about the mental well-being of medical personnel.

However, the circumstances surrounding Dr. Patil's death remain unclear. Police found a syringe and two vials of an unidentified medication next to his body, which was found on Monday, July 31, at 8 am.

Investigators also found suspicious marks on his hand and signs of an injection. According to the police, the substance that caused Dr. Patil's death must have been used to inject himself.

According to reports, Patil and a few other people were employed by the KEM's Medicine Department until it was relocated to the Sewri TB Hospital for renovations. Patil and a few others were transferred from KEM in Parel to the TB ward on Sunday morning, July 30.

It is alleged that he had recently become depressed. It's also alleged that they had complained to the KEM administration about their transfer to the TB hospital. As the investigation continues, authorities eagerly await the post-mortem report. The RAK Marg police station has also filed a report of an accidental death.

Dr. Patil, hailing from Jalgaon, had ambitious dreams of becoming a doctor. He travelled to Mumbai to pursue his education and secured a significant achievement when he gained admission to KEM Hospital. He was an inspiration to his family and friends.
