Navi Mumbai reported 49 COVID-19 cases on Monday, January 11 talking the tally up to 51,788. While 49,845 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,070. At present, 873 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Monday, 17 new cases were found in Belapur, four in Nerul, 13 in Vashi, seven in Turbhe, six in Koparkhairane, three in Ghansoli, eight in Airoli and one from Digha.

While, the recovered patients are 25 from Belapur, 16 from Nerul, 11 from Vashi, 10 from Turbhe, eight from Koparkhairane, 12 from Ghansoli, six from Airoli and one from Digha.

On Monday, January 11, Maharashtra recorded 2,438 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 19,71,552. Currently, there are 52,288 active cases in the state. With 4,286 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 18,67,988.

More than 40 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 50,101. While 2,30,699 persons are under home quarantine, 2,468 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 94.75 per cent, and 2.54 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 12,584 new cases, 18,385 recoveries and 167 deaths taking the tally up to 1,04,79,179 on Monday, January 11. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,01,11,294 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,51,327 in the country. At present, there are 2,16,558 active cases. According to the ICMR, 18,26,52,887 samples have been tested up to January 11.
