Navi Mumbai reported 98 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday (December 10) talking the tally up to 49,387. While 47,046 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, two deaths have been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,007. At present 1,334 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 95 per cent.

On Thursday, 26 new cases were found in Belapur, 16 in Nerul, 28 in Vashi, eight in Turbhe, four in Koparkhairane, one in Ghansoli and 15 in Airoli.

While, the recovered patients are 32 from Belapur, 11 from Nerul, eight from Vashi, one from Turbhe, 15 from Koparkhairane, 11 from Ghansoli and 14 from Airoli.

Maharashtra reported 3,824 new COVID-19 cases, 5,008  recoveries and 70 deaths on Thursday (December 10), taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,68,172. There are 71,910 active cases in the state and 17,47,199 patients have recovered so far. The death toll is at 47,972 in Maharashtra.

In total 1,15,02,427 people have been tested in Maharashtra. The states recovery rate is 93.52 per cent, while the mortality rate is 2.57 per cent. Currently, 5,137 people are institutional quarantine and 5,41,059 are home quarantine.

Meanwhile, India reported 29,398 new COVID-19 cases, 37,528 recoveries and 414 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 97,96,770 according to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday (December 10). While in total 92,90,834 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,42,186 in the country. At present, there are 3,63,749 active cases. According to the ICMR, 15,16,32,223 samples have been tested up to December 10.
