TGH-Onco-Life Cancer Centre in Talegaon district of Maharashtra will now offer free treatment to cancer patients under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) scheme. The novel AI-based Tomo-therapy system enables real-time tracking and adjustments during radiation therapy sessions with higher precision by targeting cancer cells, minimising damage to healthy tissue, and ensuring patient comfort. The Hospital is a one-stop solution for cancer patients to improve their quality of life. 
 
This scheme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest MLA Sunil Shelke along with other dignitaries Uday Deshmukh, Chairman and founder of Onco Life Hospital, Ganesh Khandge (President-TGH), Shailesh Shah (Chairman-TGH), Dr. Satyajit Wadhokar (Secretary-TGH), Dr. Prataparaje Mahadik, Director, Sachin Deshmukh, Managing Director and General Manager Dr. Santosh Sahu and all the eminent doctors were present on the occasion.

Currently, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) are jointly implemented in the state. At TGH - Onco Life Cancer Centre in Talegaon-Dabhade, the benefits of this scheme will be provided for individuals or families holding yellow, orange and white ration cards . They shall be provided free treatment under the MJPJAY scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sunil Shelke expressed that " TGH Onco Life Cancer Centre is dedicated to patient care, prioritizing social responsibility over mere profit-making. With this initiative, patients in need will now have access to cancer treatment within the district, instead of going to cities like Pune or Mumbai for their care. This is truly satisfying, and we extend our gratitude to the hospital's management board. I am committed to working in tandem with the hospital to ensure that needy people get full benefit from this program."
