Four HBT clinics to open in Ambernath on May 1; Patients to get Free treatment

The Hindu Hrudayasmarat Balasaheb Thackeray (HBT) clinic, which has been successfully implemented in various wards of Mumbai on behalf of the state government's health department, will soon start in the city of Ambernath in Thane district. Four clinics, two each in the eastern and western parts of the city, will start on May 1. Free treatment and various health facilities will be available to the citizens of the city in these hospitals.


HBT clinics were started at various places in Mumbai Municipal Corporation and suburban areas in the last few months. Patients get free treatment through these clinics. Also, many health facilities are provided through this hospital. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has decided to expand the scope of these clinics across the state. Accordingly, a clinic is going to be started for the first time in Thane district. Four HBT clinics will be started in the Ambernath Municipality area.

HBT clinics will be started at Samaj Mandir in Rahul Nagar, Thakur Pada area of Ambernath East, Bhaskar Nagar area of Ambernath West and Shivnagar in Maharashtra Housing Board. The MLA of Ambernath informed that these health centres will be inaugurated online by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde on May 1. 


Which facilities will be available?
These hospitals will have an outpatient department. Daily inspection will be done here. Tests like blood, urine will also be done here.


Medical manpower
A medical officer, a nurse, a multi-use staff and two helpers will be provided in this hospital. This activity will be implemented under the National Health Mission and the money will be spent from the funds of the 15th Finance Commission.
