Borivali - The outbreak of dengue in Mumbai has brought boomtime in fruit market with papaya getting top priory .As it is believed that papaya juice aids the growth of blood platelets accelerating recovery . But medical practitioners have not confirmed this.Yet people are rushing to buy papaya and tablets of papaya juice and leaves. Tab made of papaya leaves are sold at 240-410 rs per bottle . Also, dragon fruit and kiwi are also touted for their anti-dengue properties which have hiked the rate of dragon fruit to 400 rs per kilo.Earlier it was 250 rs per kilo.
