After the onset of the monsoons, the entire state was affected by eyesore cases. The state was recording more than 10,000 patients per day. Therefore, the state health department had started all-out efforts to bring this epidemic under control. But for the past few days, the outbreak of eye diseases in various districts of the state was coming under control. But as per the report of October 1, not a single patient has been found in the entire state. Therefore, it is now being observed that the epidemic of eyesore cases has come under control across Maharashtra.

Since the beginning of August, the state has seen a large number of patients with eyesore cases. In some districts this ratio is higher. So far 5 lakh 56 thousand 430 patients have been detected in the state. Maximum 52 thousand 542 patients have been found in Pune. Under that, 50 thousand 513, Jalgaon 29 thousand 856, Chandrapur 27 thousand 355 patients have been found in Buldhana district. 


In August, an average of 10,000 to 12,000 patients were found per day. All efforts were being made by the health department to control the eye infection. From the beginning of September, the eye problems gradually started to come under control. The number of patients came to zero on October 1 in all the districts of the state. Therefore, it is seen that the eye infection cases have come under control.
