While Salman Khan and his family have tested negative for coronavirus, Nikhil Dwivedi has tested positive. The actor, producer who was last seen in Scam 1992 - The Harshad Mehta Story that is streaming on SonyLiv.
Dwivedi had recently announced that he will be producing a new three-film series on shapeshifting Naagin. The movie will be directed by Vishal Furia and Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the lead role in this movie.
The trilogy is touted to be a love story made on a lavish scale, blending Indian folklore with heavy VFX. The work for this movie series is expected to start soon.
Nikhil Dwivedi had got himself tested only as a precautionary measure and as soon as he got to know that he is positive, he has isolated himself and taking all precautions possible.
Earlier in the day, Salman Khan tested negative for COVID-19. The actor and his family had got a test done since two of his staff members and a driver had tested positive. Salman had quarantined himself after his staff tested positive and he and his family had got a test done. Now that the reports are negative, Salman will be shooting for his reality show Bigg Boss on November 20 (which is tomorrow).
Salman Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi have collaborated earlier in the Dabangg series. Nikhil was a co-producer in the movie Dabangg 3 which stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha and released in December 2019. Dwivedi has also co-produced Veere Di Wedding that stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor among others.
